Our cruises to the Grenadines can start from three different islands: Martinique, St. Lucia, or St. Vincent. Each departure point has its own advantages depending on how much time you have available and how you prefer to travel.
Below you can find a short overview to help you choose the option that suits you best.
Because Martinique is located further north, the journey to the Grenadines takes about 20 hours of sailing time before arriving in the Grenadines. It is a great otion if you love the idea of combining sailing and Kitesurf / Winging in one vacation.
Another advantage is that Martinique is very easy to reach, especially from Europe. There are regular direct flights from several major European cities, making travel logistics simple and reliable.
Advantages
Direct flights from Europe
More islands and sailing routes included
Considerations
Longer trip required (10 days recommended)
Longer sailing distance at the beginning and end
Departing from St. Lucia is a great option if you prefer a shorter trip of about one week.
St. Lucia is closer to the Grenadines than Martinique, which means we can reach the main kite and wingfoil spots more quickly. Sailing time is about 12 hours. This allows us to maximize the time spent on the water during a 7-day trip.
St. Lucia is also relatively easy to reach internationally, with flights from Europe, the United States, and other Caribbean islands.
Advantages
Starting the trip from St. Vincent puts us right on the doorstep of the Grenadines. From here, the best kite and wingfoil spots are only a 6 hour sail away.
This option allows us to spend almost the entire trip inside the Grenadines, with very little transit sailing. It’s the fastest way to reach iconic locations such as Union Island, Mayreau, and the Tobago Cays.
However, St. Vincent is a bit more remote and flights can be less frequent, often requiring a connection through Barbados, St. Lucia, or another Caribbean hub.
Advantages
Fastest access to the Grenadines
Maximum time on the water
Ideal if you want to focus mainly on kiting or wingfoiling
Considerations
Flights to St. Vincent may require an additional connection
Slightly more complex travel logistics
A Caribbean Wingfoil Cruise in the Grenadines means gliding over crystal-clear flatwater while weaving your way between tropical islands. The conditions are ideal for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
Winds are typically moderate, so we recommend using wings between 4 and 5.5 meters. And yes downwinders from island to island are not only possible, they’re one of the highlights of the trip.
Starting your wingfoil trip by setting sail on a yacht is simply perfect. Just a few minutes after departure, you’ll feel completely at ease.
Each morning begins with a swim in warm, 26-degree water while the crew prepares a fresh breakfast at anchor.
Then, we kick off the day with our first wingfoil session.
By noon, we set course for a new island. As you enjoy a light snack on board, we glide toward the next beautiful anchorage.
In the evening, we meet on deck for a sundowner drink and enjoy dinner in the relaxed Caribbean atmosphere.

The yachts used for our Caribbean Wingfoil Cruise in the Grenadines is far from a typical charter boat—it’s specifically equipped for the needs of wingfoilers. Each cabin includes a private bathroom and shower for your comfort.
In addition, the yachts offer multiple chill-out areas where you can relax between sessions. Electricity is generated by solar panels, and we produce our own drinking water on board to avoid plastic waste.

There are no direct international flights to Union Island. Therefore, most guests fly into larger Caribbean hubs such as St. Vincent, Barbados, or Grenada, and then continue on a short domestic flight.
Alternatively, we can arrange a pick-up with our catamaran from one of the better-connected islands. This option transforms your arrival into the beginning of a true sailing adventure.

Wingfoiling in the Grenadines is truly exceptional, though many spots are offshore and accessible only by boat. Therefore, a certain level of confidence and independence is important.
You should be comfortable foiling in deep water, managing your equipment solo, and returning upwind if needed. If you’re still building those skills, let us know—coaching or support may be available during the trip.
The short answer: bring less than half of what you’d take on a regular beach holiday. Essentials include good sunscreen, a hat, and ideally a Lycra shirt for sun protection during the day.
You’ll only need a few items of clothing—some boardshorts or bikinis, T-shirts, and flip-flops. For the evenings, a light jumper or windbreaker is useful.
If possible, bring eco-friendly shampoo and soap, as everything ends up in the ocean. A refillable water bottle is highly recommended. And please pack using soft, collapsible bags for easy storage on board. Most importantly. Don’t forget your passport.
Wind Conditions:
During our travel period, you can expect steady trade winds around 15–25 knots, usually side-onshore or offshore – perfect for cruisy sessions and downwinders between the islands.
Recommended Wing Sizes by Body Weight:

– 85+ kg (185+ lbs): 5.5 m – 6.5 m
Boards & Foils:
– Board: Mid-volume (80–110 L) for stable starts and easy handling
– Foil: Mid-aspect, all-round foils around 1200–1600 cm² work great in light wind
– Optional: A smaller front wing or shorter mast if you want to mix it up
Other Essentials:
