Well-known destinations such as Porto Pollo may form part of the journey, but some of the most memorable sessions take place away from the established beaches. The route remains flexible, allowing the crew to choose the most suitable locations according to the wind, weather and riding level of the group.
With the Mistral, Ponente and local thermal winds shaping the conditions, Sardinia and Corsica offer everything from protected flat-water bays to more open and adventurous riding areas all surrounded by clear water, dramatic coastlines and remarkable island landscapes.

Launching directly from the boat, you’ll ride in crystal-clear water surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It’s without a doubt one of the highlights of the cruise.
These two islands offer secluded bays and some of the best kitesurfing spots in the region. With crystal-clear, calm waters and steady wind, the conditions are ideal for both cruising and progression.
Balistra Bay is one of the top anchorages for kitesurfers in the Mediterranean. Located on Corsica’s southern coast between Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio, the bay features crystal-clear turquoise waters and shallow, sandy areas that stretch far out.
With steady wind and wide-open space, it’s an ideal playground for kiting in a truly scenic setting, making it one of the most picturesque kitesurfing spots in the region.
Sardinia and Corsica offer an exceptional variety of kitesurfing conditions within a relatively compact cruising area. Sheltered bays and shallow lagoons can provide smooth, flat water, while more exposed locations offer stronger wind, open-water riding and opportunities for longer downwind sessions. The surrounding islands, granite coastlines and clear Mediterranean water make every spot feel completely different.
Travelling by catamaran allows us to move with the conditions instead of being tied to a single beach. Each day, the crew checks the forecast and selects the most suitable location according to the wind, weather and riding level of the group. Depending on the anchorage, sessions may begin from a beach, a shallow bay or directly with support from the yacht and tender.
Well-known locations such as Porto Pollo and Piantarella are only part of the experience. The real advantage of the cruise is reaching quieter bays and remote riding areas around the La Maddalena Archipelago and southern Corsica. Between sessions, return to the yacht for lunch, relax on deck or sail towards the next anchorage ready to discover another side of Sardinia and Corsica from the water.
The catamarans selected for our Sardinia and Corsica cruises are chosen to provide the space, comfort and equipment required for an enjoyable week aboard. We never operate these cruises on yachts smaller than 45 feet, ensuring generous living areas, comfortable cabins and enough room for guests, crew and watersports equipment.
Each guest cabin has access to a private bathroom and shower, while several indoor and outdoor relaxation areas provide plenty of space to unwind between sailing and watersports sessions. Whether you are enjoying the view from the deck, relaxing in the cockpit or sharing a meal with the group, the yacht remains a comfortable floating home throughout the journey.
Solar panels supply much of the electricity aboard, and the yachts produce fresh water using their onboard watermakers. This reduces the need for single-use plastic bottles and allows us to remain in remote anchorages for longer. These are not simply standard charter boats they are carefully selected and equipped for the kind of active, comfortable and more sustainable cruising experience we offer.
A typical day in Sardinia starts with a swim in the crystal-clear, warm water at our anchorage, followed by a healthy breakfast on board. After that, we dive straight into our first kitesurfing session of the day. Our crew will assist you with getting ready and ensure you have a fun and safe session on the water.
At noon, while you enjoy a fresh lunch on board, we head to the next anchorage and kitesurfing spot. Depending on your energy levels, you can either go for a second kitesurf session or explore the island’s magical landscape, such as the nuraghi stone towers.
As the sun sets, relax with a sundowner drink on board. Dinner is prepared four times a week by our chef on the yacht, and on the remaining three evenings, we’ll dine in local restaurants to enjoy authentic Sardinian cuisine.

The easiest way to reach our Sardinia and Corsica cruises is to fly into Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB), which is the closest airport to our departure marina in Northern Sardinia. During the summer season, Olbia is served by direct flights from many major European cities. Travellers coming from further away can connect through Italian hubs such as Rome or Milan.
You can also reach Sardinia by ferry, with services connecting Olbia and other Sardinian ports to mainland Italy. If you are travelling by car or bringing additional watersports equipment, the ferry can be a convenient alternative. We recommend arriving in Sardinia at least one day before embarkation, allowing time for possible travel delays and a relaxed start to your cruise.
The first sail from Olbia to our initial anchorage usually takes around four hours. It is a relaxed journey north along Sardinia’s spectacular coastline and a perfect opportunity to settle into life aboard, unpack, meet the crew and enjoy the first views from the catamaran.
Depending on the wind and weather conditions, the route may be completed under sail or with assistance from the engines. By the time we reach our first spot, you will already have experienced some of Northern Sardinia’s beautiful coastal scenery and be ready for your first activities on the water.
The short answer: pack light. Bring less than half of what you’d take on a regular beach vacation. Essentials include:
Good sunscreen
A hat and a Lycra shirt for sun protection
Swim shorts/bikinis, T-shirts, and flip-flops
A windbreaker or sweater for cooler evenings
Natural shampoo and soap (everything goes straight into the ocean)
A reusable water bottle
Soft, foldable bags for easy storage
And of course, don’t forget your passport!
