Porto Pollo is one of the most well-known bays in the Mediterranean, famous for its consistent winds, turquoise waters, and relaxed beach atmosphere. Surrounded by beautiful beaches and crystal-clear bays, it is a perfect stop during a sailing trip through Northern Sardinia.
Besides being a renowned destination for kitesurfing and wingfoiling, Porto Pollo offers excellent conditions for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, beach walks, and enjoying the vibrant seaside lifestyle. Guests can relax aboard the catamaran, discover local beach bars and restaurants, or simply enjoy the spectacular scenery and sunsets over the Sardinian coastline.
Spargi and Budelli are among the most stunning islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago, famous for their crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and untouched natural beauty. Accessible only by boat, these islands offer peaceful anchorages and breathtaking scenery.
You can enjoy swimming, snorkeling or relaxing aboard the catamaran while surrounded by spectacular granite rock formations and vibrant blue lagoons. Budelli is especially known for its famous Spiaggia Rosa and some of the clearest waters in the Mediterranean.
Bonifacio is one of the most iconic destinations in Corsica, dramatically perched on towering limestone cliffs above the sea. Its impressive natural harbor, historic old town, and vibrant waterfront make it a unique stop during a sailing trip between Sardinia and Corsica.
Nearby Piantarella is famous for its shallow turquoise lagoon, white sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Surrounded by stunning scenery and small islands, the area is perfect to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of Southern Corsica.
Balistra Bay is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled anchorages on the southern coast of Corsica, located between Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and peaceful natural surroundings, the bay offers a perfect escape into Corsica’s wild Mediterranean landscape.
No previous sailing experience is required to join the cruise. Depending on the weather and route, we sail through sheltered waters, between Mediterranean islands and across more open passages connecting Sardinia and Corsica.
You decide how involved you would like to be. Relax on deck while the crew takes care of the sailing, or take the helm, help trim the sails and learn more about handling a cruising catamaran along the way.
A typical day in Sardinia begins with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water of a peaceful anchorage, followed by a healthy breakfast aboard the yacht. From there, the day is yours to shape go kitesurfing or wingfoiling, explore the underwater world, paddle to a secluded beach or head ashore to discover Sardinia’s remarkable granite landscapes.
Around midday, enjoy a fresh lunch aboard as we sail towards the next bay or island. Spend the afternoon back on the water, explore the coastline or simply relax on deck and take in the Mediterranean scenery.
As the sun begins to set, come together for a sundowner on deck. On four evenings, our chef prepares dinner aboard the yacht. On the remaining three evenings, we visit local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to experience authentic Sardinian and Corsican cuisine.
The easiest way to reach our Sardinia and Corsica cruises is to fly into Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB), which is the closest airport to our departure marina in Northern Sardinia. During the summer season, Olbia is served by direct flights from many major European cities. Travellers coming from further away can connect through Italian hubs such as Rome or Milan.
You can also reach Sardinia by ferry, with services connecting Olbia and other Sardinian ports to mainland Italy. If you are travelling by car or bringing additional watersports equipment, the ferry can be a convenient alternative. We recommend arriving in Sardinia at least one day before embarkation, allowing time for possible travel delays and a relaxed start to your cruise.
The first sail from Olbia to our initial anchorage usually takes around four hours. It is a relaxed journey north along Sardinia’s spectacular coastline and a perfect opportunity to settle into life aboard, unpack, meet the crew and enjoy the first views from the catamaran.
Depending on the wind and weather conditions, the route may be completed under sail or with assistance from the engines. By the time we reach our first spot, you will already have experienced some of Northern Sardinia’s beautiful coastal scenery and be ready for your first activities on the water.
