Antigua / Barbuda

Antigua / Barbuda Overview

Following the footsteps of Lord Nelson, our Antigua and Barbuda Kitesurf and Wingfoil Cruise will start on the UNESCO world Heritage site of old english Harbour on Antigua. From there we set sail to discover a fascinating variety of different Kite,- and Wingfoil Spots on Antigua and Barbuda.

Kite and Wingfoil Spot Guide

Enjoy a great variety of spots from perfect flat water conditions, to nice, head high waves, or downwinders alongside the Yacht.
Just a short sail away from famous old English Harbour, the first Kite and Wingfoil Spot of our cruise awaits. Green island is an easy accessible spot, where you can enjoy nice flat water conditions inside a large lagoon. A perfect location for a first session.

The name says it all…

Amongst a maze of little islands and reefs, you´ll find perfect conditions to go out and explore the area. Hop from little island to little island and kite in front of the stunning scenery of Hells Gate.

Spanish Point on the southern tip of Barbuda is always a highlight of the Cruise. While the Yacht will be anchored nicely sheltered inside the Lagoon, Riders have the choice of enjoying flat water conditions inside the Lagoon or venture outside and find some breaking waves and swell to play with.

The second Kite and Wingfoil Spot on Barbuda is situated on the norther tip of the island. Palmetto Point again, offers endless flat water conditions inside the lagoon as well as breaking waves for the more experienced Riders behind the Point.
As a last stop of our Antigua / Barbuda Cruise, we will stop at the Secret spot. Only accessible by Yacht, this spot is for sure one of our favourites in the Caribbean!

The Yachts

The Yachts in our Fleet are not just simple Charter Boats. They´re outfitted exactly to the needs of our cruises. Despite a certain size of Yacht and Cabins, we ensure that every cabin has a private bathroom and shower, that the Yacht offers different chill-out areas for groups of people to spread out and relax, electricity is produced by solar panels and we make our own drinking water to avoid any plastic bottles on board.

Kitesurfing Antigua & Barbuda

The Kitesurf conditions and spots during our Kite Cruise in Antigua and Barbuda are very diverse and Riders of all levels will find the conditions they look for. What makes most of the spots special is that there is always a “Lagoon option” to ride in safe flat water conditions, as well as a “wave option” for the more experienced Riders who like more challenging conditions. The level of experience and skill needed to join a cruise and make the most out of all the spots, is VDWS Level 5 – or in other words, being able to ride upwind safely.

Wingfoiling Antigua & Barbuda

With their numerous untouched beaches and bays Antigua and Barbuda offer perfect wing spots with crystal-clear turquoise waters. So you can definitely leave your wetsuit at home. Our cruises in Antigua and Barbuda include up to 6 different spots per week. From perfect flat water to small but great waves, there’s something for everyone.

Sailing Antigua and Barbuda

The sailing conditions around Antigua and Barbuda are a mixture between offshore sailing between the islands of Antigua and Barbuda and sailing in flat water conditions on the leeshores and inside the Lagoons of the Islands. Life in Antigua and Barbuda

There is no better way to start your holidays than setting sail aboard a yacht. Just a few minutes after the vessel leaves the harbour, a feeling of deep relaxation and tranquility kicks in. A typical day in the Caribbean starts off with a swim in 26 degree crystal clear, warm water at our anchorage while the crew prepares breakfast.

After breakfast we start into our first activity session of the day.
At noon we set sail and while you peacefully enjoy a snack on board, we are heading to our next anchorage and different island.

At sunset we usually meet with everyone on board to end the day with a sundowner drink on deck, followed by a nice dinner on board.

Yes, all our Yachts offer free WIFI for our guest. The coverage and speed is good enough to receive emails and whatsapp at all times, but not always good enough to have extended zoom calls or to stream movies

Yes, of course! As a single traveler you have two options. Either you can book a single Cabin, but the extra fee is quite high. We have to charge 60-70% on top of the normal charter fee for the double cabin. The other option is to share the Cabin with another individual traveler. This sounds challenging – we know – but in reality never ever has been a problem. Give us a ring if you´re in doubt 🙂

The short answer would be – less than half of what you bring on a normal beach holiday. What you need is good sunscreen, ideally a hat to protect you from the sun and a Lycra shirt. Other than that you would need a couple of Boardshorts / Bikinis, T-Shirts and FlipFlops. No long pants, no Dresses, no Jackets, or Jumpers.
