Dos spots de kitesurf y wingfoil nos están esperando en estas islas. Uno de ellos es de fácil acceso y está situado directamente en nuestro anclaje. The Mice is a maze of small islands, shallow channels, and hidden lagoons. Because navigation is challenging, everyone often joins in on deck to help steer the yacht. The effort pays off with access to a surreal and remote island world—far from the usual routes and completely undisturbed.
Stanley Cay, known for its famous Pig Beach, is a highlight of our Exumas journey. Not far from here lies Sandy Cay, a peaceful island perfect for exploring. Later, we enjoy the evening at the laid-back Sailors Bar—one of the few moments we spend on land during the trip.
The yacht we use for our cruise is thoughtfully designed for comfort and sustainability. Each cabin features a private bathroom and shower, providing privacy and convenience during the journey. Additionally, the yacht offers multiple chill-out areas where guests can unwind and take in the surroundings. Electricity is supplied by solar panels, and we produce our own drinking water on board to avoid plastic bottles. This is far from a standard charter boat—it’s built with purpose and care for the experience we offer.

Las condiciones de kitesurf durante nuestro crucero de kitesurf y wingfoil en las Exumas ofrecen una mezcla de aguas planas, lagunas poco profundas y hermosos downwinders entre las islas. Los vientos suelen ser suaves, por lo que recomendamos llevar cometas más grandes. Los kitesurfistas más pesados suelen utilizar cometas de 12-14 m, mientras que los más ligeros utilizan cometas de 10-12 m. Para disfrutar plenamente de todos los lugares en esta aventura de kitesurf y wingfoil, los riders deben estar al menos en el nivel 5 de VDWS, lo que significa que pueden navegar hacia arriba con confianza.

El viento generalmente no es muy fuerte, así que recomendamos tamaños de ala entre 4 y 5.5 metros. Navegar en las Exumas es un poco como navegar en una piscina. El agua nunca llega a ser más profunda de 5 metros, no hay olas en absoluto, el mareo no es un problema y, literalmente, toda el área es un enorme y hermoso anclaje.
There’s no better way to begin your Exumas journey than by setting sail on a yacht. Just minutes after leaving the harbor, a sense of calm and freedom sets in.
Each day on board starts with a refreshing swim in warm, crystal-clear waters while the crew prepares breakfast.
Afterwards, we begin our day’s activities—whether that means relaxing on deck or exploring the surroundings.
Around noon, we set course for a new anchorage. While enjoying a light snack on board, you can visit the famous swimming pigs or go for a short island walk.
As the sun begins to set, we gather on deck for a sundowner drink, followed by a laid-back dinner in the peaceful evening breeze.
El punto de partida de nuestro viaje a las Exumas es la isla de Nassau, Bahamas.
Los vuelos directos desde Europa a Nassau son raros. Normalmente, vuelas a Miami y luego haces la conexión a Nassau. Una vez en el aeropuerto, te recomendamos que tomes un taxi para los últimos metros hasta el punto de encuentro. El trayecto dura aproximadamente 40 minutos. Nuestro equipo te estará esperando en el noreste de la isla. Aquí, nuestro barco estará anclado en la bahía de Fort Montague. Te recogeremos en la playa cerca de Fort Montague y cerca de Maxxis Bar. El check-in en el barco, con un cóctel de bienvenida, es a partir de las 18:00 el día de tu llegada.
El punto de encuentro y el check-in en el barco serán en Fort Montague, Nassau, por la tarde. A la mañana siguiente, zarparemos hacia las Exumas, específicamente a Little Normans Cay. Después de una navegación de 6 a 7 horas, tendremos nuestra primera sesión de kitesurf y wingfoil por la tarde.
La respuesta corta sería: menos de la mitad de lo que llevarías en unas vacaciones de playa normales. Necesitarás buen protector solar, idealmente un sombrero y una camiseta de Lycra para protegerte del sol. Necesitarás un par de boardshorts/bikinis, camisetas y chanclas. Un cortavientos o un suéter para las noches es una buena idea. Si puedes, trae champú y jabón naturales, ya que todo irá al océano de inmediato. Se recomienda una botella para rellenar con agua potable.Por favor, empaca en bolsas suaves y plegables para facilitar el almacenamiento. Y no olvides tu pasaporte.
